Attend a Texas Tea Party in Faison House – our historic home

enjoy tasty local food with your Texas tea

hear about the family who lived in the house from 1850-1950

compare what women did for fun back then, to what we do today

We will take you to the courthouse square in small town La Grange

to shop, a quilt art exhibit, gourmet food tasting and “groovy” drink

It’s time to relax and have some fun with your friends, or as a Mother’s Day gift !

That’s Saturday May 17

• 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm a Texas Tea Party

at Faison House – 822 S. Jefferson St., La Grange, TX 78945

 

Menu includes: BBQ Pork Sliders, Coleslaw, Corn, Kolaches, and of course- Dessert-Peach Cream, all with Cold Texas Sweet Tea (and un-sweet too)

After the tea party it’s time for specially arranged stops at the Town Square.

Walk with escorts to ~

• 3:15 pm: Exhibit of uncommon quilts at the Texas Quilt Museum
• 4:15 pm: Special taste testing at Le Petite Gourmet Shoppe
• 5:00 pm: A Texas drink and “groovy” times at Mac’s Daqs

 

We invite you to stay for Bluff Schuetzenfest – a German heritage festival at Kreische Brewery and Monument Hill State Historic Sites. It’s free to enjoy the music, games, living history, and scenic views. If you wish to enter the biergarten and partake of craft beers from around Texas, there is an admission fee.
