Deborah Blanchette Bradley- A proud La Grange native and graduate of La Grange High School, Deborah Bradley built a distinguished career in Harris County politics before returning home to raise her family. She and her husband, John—originally from Dallas—settled in La Grange with their two children, Asher and Railla, both now living in Lubbock. Asher and his wife, Makayla, recently welcomed a son, while Railla is pursuing a nursing degree at Texas Tech University.

Locally, Deborah is best known as “The Wedding Planner.” Through her company, Deborah Bradley Events & Designs, LLC, she produced more than 2,500 weddings and special events over 17 years for clients around the world.

In her free time, Deborah enjoys traveling, writing (including published novels and children’s books), cooking, and spending time with loved ones. She also sings with the St. James Episcopal Church Choir and performs in local community theater—but her favorite pastime is spoiling her sweet grandson, Levi.

Since joining the Texas Quilt Museum in 2022 as Managing Director, Deborah has launched programs for children and new quilters and created events that celebrate and connect communities across Texas. She is passionate about sharing the rich history of quilting and the vibrant story of the Texas Quilt Museum; and she warmly invites you to visit La Grange and experience the magic of the Texas Quilt Museum for yourself.

John Bradley – A polite, true Texas gentleman who treats everyone with kindness and respect. He’s ready to show you some helpful skills and guide you in handling different reactions with confidence.
